The Edcouragementor Community is the brainchild of Miriam Singer, a veteran educator in Los Angeles with over seventeen years of experience in the classroom and as an administrator in both public and private schools. As an assistant head of school, a fair amount of her daily work involves supporting new teacher development. She is very lucky to have some incredible mentors who have supported her through her teaching career, and wants all teachers to feel equally supported. Her goal in creating this community of support is to help teachers develop strategies to become excellent instructors who remain in education for the long-haul. She is excited to learn and share along with the Edcouragementor Community, a place where teachers support teachers.
